2 july, kathmandu- Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development, Chakrapani Khanal, has said that Prime Minister Agriculture Programe has become effective.
At a programme organsied by Reporters’ Club, State-5 at Butwal, today, Minister Khanal said that agriculture production has been increased after the beginning of the PM Agriculture Programme.
He further said that the government has given emphasis on moderinization and mechanization to increase agro productions.
The Agriculture Minister said out of Rs 28 billion budget allocated by the government in agriculture, Rs 9 billion was allocated for fertilizer.
Meanwhile in Galkot, Prime Minister Employment Programme has become effective at Tarakhola rural municipality of Baglung district. Repair and maintenance of roads of five wards of the rural municipality were carried out under the programme.
A total of 95 workers were mobilized for the same. Around five kilometers of road of the rural municipality was repaired, said rural municipality Prakash Gharti. (RSS)
