20 june,Jumla- Educational materials have been distributed to 61 students with disabilities of Janata Namuna Technical School, Mahatgaun, in Jumla district. The physically disabled students from class 1-10 have got the educational materials.
One hundred and 22 dozens of copies, 40 dozens of pens, 21 dozens of pencils as well as pencil cutters and erasers were distributed to the children, said social mobilizer of Karnali Integrated Rural Development and Research Center (Kirdarc)-Nepal, Jumla, Satya Devi Bohora.
The educational materials were provided under Inclusive Educational Promotion Project with financial support of Plan International Nepal and collaboration of Kirdarc Nepal-Jumla, added Bohora. The different type of supports provided at the school to increase educational quality of disabled students has helped them in their study.
Similarly, Field Officer of Kirdarc Nepal-Jumla, Nar Bahadur Shahi, said that 118 students of different rural municipalities were provided with educational materials as well as 95 students with poor financial status of Tatopani rural municipality also got school uniform and educational materials.
