16 june, Syangja- Locals have come together to support their fellow resident Khum Bahadur Gurung, a resident of Waling municipality-9, who is suffering from failure of both his kidneys.
Also professor at Waling Multiple Campus, Gurung has provided Rs. 2.474 million at a function held here Friday. A fund raising committee had been formed under the convenorship of former Chief of the Campus Rina Rana.
At the function, Chair of the Campus Board of Directors and Gandaki State assembly member Mohan Prasad Regmi thanked all the teachers, students, social workers and those who contributed to the fund raising campaign.
Likewise, media worker Tikaraj Gurung was honoured at the programme. Gurung had helped collect Rs. 1.3 million from Nepalis living and working abroad.(RSS)
