Tyron Woodley seems to be seeking for a money fight against Conor McGregor.
While The Notorious showed his interest in a title in the third weight class, Woodley has pushed the talks forward with his recent comments. The fight makes sense as McGregor could become the first to hold the titles in three different weight classes and Woodley would earn the biggest paycheck of his career through the bout.
In his recent interview on “Fair Game” with Kristine Leahy, The Chose One said he would have an easy match against the Irishman watching his getting knocked down by Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229. Khabib submitted Conor to win the bout, however, he was able to knock down the former two-division champion on the ground for some seconds.
Especially after watching him fight Khabib. You know, Khabib is dope, and he was undefeated. When it comes down to overall martial arts and being able to be a great striker, and power, and wrestling, and defense, and striking, I think Khabib is dope for his pressure and his wrestling.
“But his striking is not the greatest in his division, and he was able to knock Conor down. So if Khabib could knock you down, I think I might be able to knock you out.”
The UFC Welterweight champion said.
The two fighters shared a couple of heated incidents earlier. During the weigh-ins ahead of UFC 205, Conor and Woodley has a brief argument and also shared words backstage that day.
They also were into social media war on November 11, 2016.

The match might seem unlikely. However, everything is possible when it comes to Conor McGregor.
Would Woodley actually put Conor into the Canvas? What are your thoughts?
